TREE PLANTING AND SEED COLLECTING DATA
Tree planting is therefore a continuous process, which involves planting, maintenance, and follow up in order to have big trees which will form forests. This entails monitoring the growth and health status of the trees as well as their rate of survival at specific intervals. Additional practices include weeding or mulching, as well as any removal or supplementation of trees that may have been planted but did not germinate successfully. Reforestation success is quantified in terms of tree regeneration, growth, patterns of regeneration, and return of fauna. It also enables the evaluation of the extent of the reforestation and any modifications that may be required for better results.

Collection of seeds is done in ways that do not harm the plants further or compromise the capability of the seeds. Some seeds are individually hand picked from the pods or fruits. Seeds drop naturally on the collectors sheet placed beneath trees while others are directly collected by shaking the trees or picking them from the ground. The collection is well done to avoid exploiting seeds plenty from the natural resources in order to meet the requirements of wildlife and other natural processes.
Some of the equipment that is typically used in the collection are baskets, nets and pruning shears.

The total tree planting that have been planted by Project ReWild Desaru from Jun 2023 to December 2023 are 1,280 plants
